All Ireland Football Final 2010: Cork 0-16 v Down 0-15

Sunday night 19th September the Metro Bar was the venue for the All Ireland Senior Football Final clash between Cork and Down. Going into the game as favourites Cork will have been happy to win by the one point margin having trailed Down for most of the game. While Cork ended a run of near-misses (in the finals three times in the last five years and lost), Down (a surprise team for many this year) suffered their first defeat in Senior Football in six finals. Anyway, it's all over until next year when Mourne expectations will be higher. Below are some of the spectators in the bar:
