As always there have been a few changes on the street! Seriously!
1. The travel agency and Redz both of which were directly across the street from Metro Apartments have gone. There is no a soon-to-open GoGo called Destiny which also has some rooms above it. More news on this as and when.
2. Goodman Travel Agency has not reverted to GM Tour and Travel. So, still a travel agency and apparently a pretty good one at that.
3. The Traveller's Rest around the corner opposite The Office a GoGo has changed hands. Fergus is moving his golfing biz back to its former home, The Bowling Green, on what most people call Soi Xyte. Mind you Xyte is also no longer there and is being re-developed as an IT centre along the lines of Tuk Com.
4. The Thai Archer has also apparently changed hands.
I am led to believe that both these places will become ..... GoGo Bars!
5. I've heard on the grapevine that Red 5 and the shop next door have also changed hands and will also become a Go Go!
6. Britannia Bar is still on the market as is Tom bar on Soi Boukhao, opposite Dental Art. Dragon Bar on Soi Boukhao between Diana Estate and Dental Art, near Rabbi's Bar, is also on the market.
7. The authorities have been particularly mindful of their duties of late and have been going around ensuring that bars and GoGo Bars are closing timely around 3 am.
8. I believe that Robin's Nestaurant has also changed hands.
9. The old 7-11 across from Rich Bar has also now opened as a Dental Surgery.
On the subject of dentists, I have used Dental Art along Soi Boukhao for ages. I continue to recommend it and have just been there this afternoon. Still highly recommended.
