Work continues in the shop house beside Metro Apartments where a Go go will open soon.
Also across the street in the shops where the travel agent and Redz are, work has begun on the rooms upstairs and in November work will begin downstairs when this double unit will become another Go go.
Bolaget seems to have enlarged the premises by breaking through to the restaurant next door.
On Soi Boukhao, going in the direction of Soi Honey Inn, the old 7-11 has now been refurbished and remodelled and will soon be open as a Dental Surgery.
At the time of writing, there is a large influx of people from Bangkok where flood water is expected to be at its worst this coming weekend.Last weekend the town was busy and now that there is a 5-day weekend because of the oncoming water the numbers are even greater this weekend. It is fortunate that Pattaya is dry with little or no rain.
Apart from people hoarding foodstuffs and drinking water, there would seem to be either distribution difficulties or hoarding going on on the part of businesses also. Several types of beer are difficult to get as is water, juices and loo roll!
Further updates as and when we get a chance.
