I believe that several places are on the market but there's nothing new about that really. There are always places on the market.
Names that come to mind are Kilkenny, Drunken Duck and Blue Moon.
Ice Bar has changed hands I believe and is now run by several lads - though I am not sure where they are from.
Some places are gearing up for the World Cup but there seems to be a lot of confusion over whether True will have an English commentary - according to the results of phone calls I made to them - the answer is no.
I believe I have a solution but I won't know for sure until the first game!
Rumours of perhaps another coyote bar opening in the street - might not be a bad thing for the area. Several places along Soi Boukhao being gutted and re-furbished and several with sign saying closed for upgrade. Possibly because of lower visitor numbers in town.
On that note, we have more capacity available this year than in previous years so if you're coming this way, check with us rather than assume we're full!
Was around The Avenue the other day - not a lot of people around! Have also heard that Rich bar on Soi Boukhao is moving to Soi Lengkee - wait and see.
